Emeka was admitted to the Nigerian Bar having qualified to practice Law in Nigeria.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B (Hons) from the University of Benin, Barrister-at-Law (B.L.) from the Nigerian Law School, and a Master of Laws (LL.M) Degree in Energy and Maritime Law, Secured Credit Transactions and Labour Relations from the University of Lagos. He also holds a Proficiency Certificate in Management from the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
Emeka has a widespread of knowledge in litigation and Corporate and Commercial Law practice, Insolvency and Debt Recovery, and Energy Resources. He is also experienced in the handling of maritime and aviation matters.
He is experienced in Litigation at all levels of court in Nigeria and particularly in the defense of employment and labour related suits instituted against some major banks and clients of the firm by former employees.
